Sean has been watching Anime most his life, but didn't start collecting Anime until 1993 when he started collecting one of his favorite shows from his childhood, Robotech. From there he started collecting and watching whatever Anime he could get his hands on.
In 1997, Sean moved to Washington where he spent 2 years living in Thurston County. While living there, he started to frequent the Anime Cafe in Tacoma, where he became friends with the owner and many of the other people who helped run the store. Eventually, Sean moved up to Pierce County to be closer to the Anime Cafe and his friends in Pierce County.
Sean attended his first Convention Baka-Con, in 1999, where he was literally dragged into helping the very short handed Staff. The following year found Baka-Con renamed to Sakura-Con, and Sean became an official Staff Member from the start. He has remained on Staff for Sakura-Con ever since.
Sean has always disliked bootleg and unlicensed Anime merchandise and videos. He has done what he can to prevent unlicensed merchandise from being purchased by those fans who may not know what to look for in licensed goods. He strives to make sure that any merchandise he sells is licensed and not some cheap bootleg item.
In 2004, the Anime Cafe closed, leaving the Anime fans in the area without a good source of Anime related merchandise. While DVDs and Manga have been increasingly easier to find at larger retailors, the character goods and other merchandise has been limited to smaller shops and at booths at Conventions.
In 2005, Sean has started in a dream he has had for a long time and has finally started in the business of selling Anime related merchandise, mainly at Conventions and through this website, but would like to open a small retail store sometime in the future where Anime fans can come and purchase the goods they are interested in from a source that knows and cares about Anime.
